Color Correction!

In this tutorial, you will learn how color correct your footage in Adobe Premiere CS5. Keep in mind that this takes practice and that there is no magic formula for getting it to look right. Tweak it a little at a time and you will get it to look right.

Color correction is one of the most under looked things in post-production. Almost all of the video you see online, TV, and in the movies has been color corrected to some degree. Often color correction is used to match two shots that were shot at a different time of day or setting. Also, color correction can be used in After Effects as well to more properly blend your visual effects into the scene. For example, elements like muzzle flashes need to be color corrected so that they cast a light that would be appropriate in a certain environment. Color correction in After Effects, Premiere, or any other program can take time to master and tweak. Take your time and make some great looking footage!
