I added my meta description and tags into my html for my website in Dreamweaver. Once I uploaded that html page into my FTP client and checked my site in the browser page source, the tags were not there. I even started from scratch and saved my html under a different name and uploaded that one into my FTP client, and it was still not showing what I wanted. I figured it might take a while to actually process... so I waited a month and nothing.

Here is what I have in my html coding in Dreamweaver:

<html>

<head>

<title>MPK_Welcome</title>

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">

<meta name="description" content="Moorpark Pines Apartments in Moorpark, CA is conveniently located near shops, restaurants, parks and freeways and offers newly renovated apartment units at an affordable price."/>
<meta name="keywords" content="Moorpark, Pines, Apartments, Apts, apartment, townhouse, townhome, private, enclosed, backyard, patio, on-site, laundry, room, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom, studio, granite, countertop, renovated, new, large, cabinet, New, Los Angeles Ave, simi valley, thousand oaks, special, move-in, discount, rates, dog, cat, allowed, month to month, lease, college, appliances"/>

</head>

Here is what my browser page source shows:
<head>
<center>
<title>MPK_Welcome</title>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
</head>

Its probably a quick fix, but
Thank you in advance for your help :)

Wow, that is really weird. The only difference I can see between what you are using and what I use is that the words Description and Keywords are capitalized. I don't know if that would cause an issue, but you never know.

Do you think that it may be a GoDaddy.com issue? (I am using their FTC client). It just seems like to me they take out the meta tags, maybe due to spamming??? That's a wild guess... but thats how stuck I am lol. That's the only thing I can think of...
I can keep playing around with it and hopefully will find a solution. If I do, I'll let you know :)
Thank you!

Does GoDaddy have any kind of support you can contact? You may be able to find out if they regulate keywords and descriptions and if they dont, then you can eliminate that as a possible reason for the problem.

I finally got it working. I think it was a Godaddy issue. Nothing was updating or refreshing, so that was why I didn't think my tags were working. Then a few hours later, I tried again and everything was updating perfectly. I'm glad it wasn't me :) Thank you for your help!
