I tried to follow his tutorial www.youtube.com/watch?v=3e2uUZSyezA&feature=related from a to z, but when I try it mine keeps swichting between my photos very fast and therefore the btns won't work.

You can here see what I have done of actions:

stop()

btn1.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,backward);
btn2.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,forward);

function forward(event:MouseEvent){
if(this.currentFrame "" this.totalFrames){
gotoAndStop(1);
}
else{
nextFrame();
}
}

btn1.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,backward);
btn2.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,forward);

function forward(event:MouseEvent){
if(this.currentFrame "" 1){
gotoAndStop(this.totalFrames);
}
else{
prevFrame();
}
}

Can someone please explain me what I am doing wrong? 'Cause to me it looks exactly like the one in the tutorial :(

Are you using Flash AS3 or AS2?
